Selected as this is a delightful little site renowned for its quiet peaceful atmosphere, just a 500m walk along a track through the woods and dunes to a beautiful stretch of sandy beach. It is attractively laid out with more than 50 species of trees and shrubs. Monsieur and Madame Jolivet who own the site are particularly committed to care of the environment and have won awards for their eco-friendly management. This includes low energy light sensitive light bulbs throughout the site, use of re-cycled water and regulated outflow taps, recycling, and purchase of local eco-products. Some occasional road noise. A good size about 100m², flat and a mixture of grass and sand. They are divided by trees and shrubs. The turning circle for large outfits may be a bit tight as the alleys are rather narrow. There is a clothes airer on every pitch.

One beautiful new toilet block which has been attractively tiled in slate grey and cream. Push button temperature controlled showers. Hot and cold taps in wash cubicles. Toilet seats and toilet paper. The block is immaculately maintained with eco-friendly cleaning products. Disabled facilities. Baby room. Washing machine. Chemical waste point.
From Challans take the D753 to St Jean-de-Monts. Then follow ring road, the D38 towards Notre Dame-de-Monts and Noirmoutier. Continue for 6km and as you reach the outskirts of Notre Dame turn left towards Plage de Pont d'Yeu and left almost immediately into Rue Piverts which runs into Chemin de la Rive and the site entrance is on your left
