Selected because of its fabulous location overlooking a beautiful stretch of sandy beach. This beach is perfect for surfing and swimming. This site is named after the Royal Pavilion built in 1890 and perched on the hill next door. The beach is accessed via a gate, operated with a magnetic card, and down some steps. The site is surrounded by a pine forest and inland there are views of the Pyrénées. A long thin site laid out in attractive alleys, it slopes gently from the reception to the beach-view pitches. In spite of its size, it is a quiet peaceful site. There are also 7 golf courses within a 7km radius. A free shuttle bus service runs between the campsite, Bidart and the beaches in high season.

Three 2 bedroomed chalets and 4 mini studios for 2/4 persons.
Grassy, mostly flat, varying in shape and size with the majority at least 100m². There is some shade except on those nearer the beach. Some tent pitches have been enlarged for the 2018 season.

A good-sized rectangular pool 16m x 10m good for swimming. Small square paddling pool. Attractive sun terrace with sun loungers.
Four separate blocks, two for toilets alone and two for showers and washbasins. The two blocks nearest the beach have been completely refurbished. The third block with toilets nearer the reception has also just been refurbished and the fourth one although not so modern is very well maintained and clean. Push button temperature control showers with hooks, shelf and rail. Individual wash basins. Toilets with toilet paper and and handwashing sink. Separate laundry. Chemical waste point. *New for 2018* The local showers located by the sea are now heated. The local showers near the commercial space is renovated and the water fountains on the sites have been changed.
Exit 4 from A63 on to D810 direction Bidart. Turn right at roundabout signposted to site on to D911 and then left after 500m just after pedestrian crossing. The site is well sign-posted.
