Selected as this site is 1,300m high in a stunningly scenic area of the Les Alpes de Haute Provence with mountains all round and lakes nearby. It is a family-run site offering amazing facilities including superb indoor and outdoor swimmming pools. It is only 200m from the mountain village and ski-resort of St Jean Montclar and close to the Mercantour National Park and the Serre-Ponçon lake. There is a wide variety of outdoor and mountain activites nearby making the site a perfect spot for a family holiday. It can be cold at night even in summer due to the altitude and a good torch is recommended as the site is not well lit.

Large outdoor pool with generous sun terrace and sun loungers 160² and a further 190m² shallow recreational pool with showering mushrooms, a small waterslide and climbing wall. Superb indoor pool and spa area 350m² in total with lovely views through large glass windows. It includes an air bath with hydro-massage benches and jet,a balneo river at 29°, two individual jacuzzis at 33°, a sauna and a hammam.

From Grenoble take the D1075 south towards Sisteron. At Aspres-sur-Buech turn onto the D994 to Gap. (This route is quicker than the N85). From Gap take the N85 south towards Sisteron and before you leave the town turn left onto the D900b towards Barcelonnette at th ejunction with the D942 continue on the D900b and turn right 29km after this junction on the D900 to Digne. Turn left to Montclar after 5km and follow signs to the campsite. The site is near the village centre turn right opposite the ski-lift station and the entrance is downhill on your left after 250m.
