Selected because of its unique location at the foot of the magnificent Roquebrune rock, immediately opposite a fabulous lake, renowned for its beautiful sunsets. The site has a welcoming flowery entrance and offers well maintained facilities. The lakeside services have recently been completely revamped to include canoeing on the lake and the Argens river and mini-golf. There is also a bar/restaurant. The water ski-ing remains private. The site is only a 500m walk from the pretty little village of Roquebrune with its picturesque gates and squares. A cycle ride will take you to the nearest beach - the cycle track starts just 800 metres from the campsite. Founded in 1968 by the Simoncini family, the site has constantly been improved and the recently installed spa area is a lovely spot to relax and pamper yourself. To help security on the campsite a bracelet issued on arrival should be worn at all times.

Flat and divided by high hedges. Most of the pitches are shaded and set out in straight narrow alleys giving a very tight turning circle to get on to the pitches, therefore not recommended for outfits over 6.5m long. The most generous least shady pitches are near the football pitch.

High season: children's club 4 -12yrs, archery, aquagym, jogging, family theme evenings with live music. Guided walks including one up to top of the Roquebrune, worth the effort for the views.

Good sized heated pool, open from 09:00 to 19:00, excellent for a good swim, paddling pool and attractive sun terrace with sun loungers, surrounded by verdant hedging. NB swimming shorts are not allowed - please wear swimming trunks. Spa area which includes sauna, massage, jet stream pool and a swimming pool 6m x 12m with jacuzzi is for adults only and free for some dates in low season. A bracelet issued on arrival should be worn at all times.
Three unisex toilet blocks, one large modern one decorated in true Provençal style, beautifully tiled and laid out round a courtyard. Other two blocks older but acceptable. Push button showers in all the blocks, no temperature control. No cold water in individual wash cubicles. No toilet paper. Well maintained. Disabled facilities. Baby room. Laundry. Chemical waste point.
The site is just north of Roquebrune on the D7. From A8 motorway exit at Le Muy and then take the N7 east following signs for Roquebrune-sur-Argens. The campsite is approximately 2km south from the N7 turning before you come to the town of Roquebrune and is signposted.
