A truly terrific site. Stunning mountain location with magnificent views set in beautiful woodland. Facilities modern, immaculately cleaned daily and the site run by a most delightful group of people. Pool great although unheated so a bit chilly, particularly for children, when the weather is not roasting. Campsite etiquette amazing. Total silence by 2130 until 0900, which made for a very restful time. Site patronised mainly by young families and retired folk. No 18-30 here! Easy access on foot to Le Tholy (good range of shops, including good boulangerie) and Gerardmer (all town amenities and a magnificent lake on which to hire boats of all kinds at reasonable rates). All in all, a great stay. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it very highly. The best European site we have ever used.
