Selected for the great views great views of the village of Le Tholy and the surrounding landscape, this is a beautifully maintained site in the heart of the Vosges mountains and is definitely one of the best in the area. The flowery entrance is complemented by forty different varieties of tree. You can be sure of a warm welcome from the friendly owners, who are very keen to maintain a quiet peaceful atmosphere. A good mixture of nationalities comes to enjoy the verdant scenery of this pretty mountainous region.

Pre-order bread in July/August. No shop but small grocery 1km away. Bar/snack overlooking pool which sells drinks, ice creams and pizzas. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted. Internet and Wi-Fi.
Good-sized pool for small site 15m x 10m - heated throughout season and sun terrace with sun loungers, good for a dip at the end of a day walking or cycling. No paddling pool but shallow area at both ends of pool. Open 1st June to mid-Sept.
Two very well maintained toilet blocks. First block at bottom of the site has been renovated with attractive tiling. Separate men's and ladies in this block, second one unisex. Push button showers, no temperature control with hook and shelf and rail Separate wash cubicles. Toilets with seats and toilet paper. The second block is beginning to look a bit dated. Disabled facilities. Baby room. Separate laundry. Chemical waste point.
From Epinal. Take the N420 exit and after approximately 500m turn right onto the D11 east in the direction of Gérardmer. After approximatey 27km you arrive at Le Tholy. Turn right as you enter the village and follow signs to the site marked Camping & Chalets, turning again after 500m. From Gérardmer. Take the D417 in the direction of Epinal. After 13km you arrive at Le Tholy. Turn right into the village and follow signposts to the campsite marked Camping & Chalets.
