Selected because of its lovely location in the heart of the Vosges on the edge of the Ballon National Park. It is a small family-run site in a rural setting just 500m from the centre of Corcieux. You can expect a warm welcome from the friendly French/English couple who run it. The Vosges is a region of stunning mountain passes, waterfalls, mountain trails and bike tracks. You are also well placed here for visiting the pretty villages in the Alsace and Lorraine regions. 30 species of bird can be spotted on the site, which is a member of the Bird Protection League. Pre-order bread and croissants. Shop in Corcieux. No bar or restaurant on site, although there is a selection of restaurants and snack bars in town. There is a visiting pizza van and a further van selling roast chicken and roast potatoes in high season. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted. Wi-fi throughout site with charge.

Two toilet blocks which are well maintained. One block has recently been refurbished and has temperature controlled showers, the other has simple push button showers. There are individual wash basins with a mixer tap and toilets with toilet paper. Disabled facilities, baby room. Laundry.
From Gérardmer take the D8 towards St Dié-les-Vosges. After 10km turn left onto the D60 to Corcieux (Lighter vehicles can take a left at Gerbepal on the D86) The site entrance is on your right as you enter the town. From Epinal take the road to Bruyèes along the D11 and then the D44. As you enter Bruyèes turn right onto the D423 and after 2km turn left onto the D60. Stay on the D60 through Corcieux and the site entrance is on your left as you leave the town.
