Normandy
Selected as this Castels site is a great choice for younger children and is set in the spacious grounds of an 18th century manor house, rather "shabby-chic" in appearance but nevertheless along with the lake an attractive focal point. The pretty lake is suitable for boating and for children to try a spot of fishing. The verdant area around the lake is scattered with picnic tables and is a wonderful spot for relaxing. The traditional style bar is in the manor house and the restaurant in a converted barn. The young owners create a warm laid back atmosphere attracting lots of repeat business. This more than compensates for lack of TLC in some areas.
