Mostly flat and grassy defined by low trees. All pitches are 90m²-110m². Twelve pitches have a hard standing area. A 15% discount is available for night pitches with arrival after 7pm and departure before 10am. Cyclocampers get a 20% discount. There is 10% off if you stay 10 nights or more. You can make reservations for 2018 from November 2nd 2017.

L'Ile de Tatihou, a small area of land off St Vaast La Houge becomes an island at high tide and is now listed by Unesco. Nearby the picturesque village of Portbail and the Cape of Carteret.

No shop, but bread available in bar, which is open all day from end of May until beginning of September. Take-away and basic snacks available in bar 1st July to 1st September. Good restaurants in town. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted. Internet and Wi-Fi.
Attractive 320m² pool complex with four lane waterslide, separate swimming area and small baby pool divided by gate. Generous sun terrace, overlooked by bar terrace. Open 19th May to 2nd September.
Two toilet blocks which have both been recently renovated. Separate mens and ladies English style toilets, but no seats. Toilet paper outside cabin. Push button showers with temperature control and hooks for clothes. Individual wash cubicles. Two family rooms but accessible only with a key. Disabled facilities. Baby room. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Chemical waste point.
From Cherbourg Port. Follow directions for Caen/Mont St Michel on the N13. Once you reach Valognes take the D2 to Ste Sauveur. Then continue on the D900 in the direction of Coutances for 7kms. At the roundabout follow the sign to La Haye du Puits and then turn right after approximately 300m. The site is well signposted from the roundabout. From Caen/Ouistreham. Follow direction Caen on D515 for 12km, then direction Cherbourg on N13 for 75km. At Carentan, leave the N13, direction Barneville-Carteret on the D971 for 4km and turn right on the D903 for 20km until you reach La Haye du Puits. In the village, turn right and follow the signs "Les Haizes" for 1km .

this site is great I cant compare with other French sites because I never stayed on any but this place is great we had great weather which always helps site cleanest I have ever been on showers and loos in the block we used were superb mixed men and ladies but no probs at all we chose our own pitch so you can choose shady or sunny electric no probs with plugs uk camping type fit no probs pool great not sure if it was heated or not but temp great when we were there and not too busy when we were there loads of sunbeds all the time swimming trunk rule a bit strange but we coped cant comment on food burgers etc never had any bar nice quiet prices ok fishing excellent you,ll be busy all the time fishing here plenty of carp action all the time fish not fussy about baits either the,ll take all usual stuff excellent experience will return when holidays allow
First time to France,would highly recommend this site,probly go back next year.
