Selected as this quiet site in the heart of the Brotonne National Park is within easy walking distance of the centre of Jumièges, a pretty town situated on a big loop of the River Seine, famous for its beautiful abbey. Just 10km from the A13 Paris - Caen cars and small motorhomes can access Jumièges by ferry across the River Seine. Caravans have to take a longer route across the Pont de Brotonne. Easy access also from A29. It is a good area for cycling either along the river or through the Brotonne forest, ideal for overnight stops and short stays for those wishing to explore the villages dotted along the river. The site has new owners who are already creating a more friendly atmosphere and are slowly making improvements.

Very small shop by reception, serving basics. Baker calls daily. A small bar/snack has been recently been set up behind the reception. There are also several bars and restaurants and a bakery in Jumièges. Nearest supermarket in Yainville - 3km. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted.

From North: A29 exit 9 on to N29 towards Yvetôt, taking ring road to south. After 7km turn left onto D131 towards Pont de Brotonne. Just before bridge turn left onto D982 towards Jumièges and Rouen. After 10km turn right to Jumièges and th esite is well signposted. From south: take exit 25 at Bourg Achard on to D313 towards Yvetôt. Turn right just after crossing the Pont de Brotonne and continue as above. Access to Jumièges is shorter using the small toll free ferry directly to the town but is only possible for cars, small camper vans and short trailers.
