Loire
Selected as this is a pretty little Castels site set in the grounds of an 18th century manor house. A separate building with two 14th century towers is a stunning backdrop for the heated swimming pool. Situated just south of the main tourist attractions of the Loire and about 20 minutes from the Futuroscope theme park on the old road to St Jacques de Compostella, it is a quiet relaxing site with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. There are no tarmaced roads on the site.
