Selected as this is a delightful little site situated just outside the village of Concourson-sur-Layon amidst the vineyards and sunflowers. It is an English owned site spaciously laid out in an open field and has a quiet peaceful atmosphere. You can expect a warm welcome from the charming proprietors who also run the attractive little bar/restaurant in the evening. Inevitably the majority of visitors are British, so it is not recommended for those looking for a typically French ambiance.

No shop, but bakery service from mid-June. Bar and Restaurant overlooking pool open every evening except Monday from 15/05 - 15/09. Bar open for drinks and snacks from 12pm during the peak season and 7pm during low season until late. A full set menu is available in the evening for dinner. Bakers, bar-tabac and church in village, 2 minutes walk. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted. Wi-Fi in tent at entrance to the site.

From Angers. Take N260 ringroad to the east of the town following signs for Poitiers. Go over the Loire river and take the D748 to Brissac-Quincé. In Brissac-Quincé at the end of the dual carriageway head straight on at the roundabout on D761 in the direction of Doué-la-Fontaine. At Doué-la-Fontaine take the first exit off the roundabout to Cholet and Concourson-sur-Layon. Continue through the village and just after crossing the bridge over the river Layon the campsite is signposted to your right. From Saumur. Take the D960 towards Cholet and past Doué-la-Fontaine. Then continue as above.
