Loire
Selected because this site offers easy access to the château de Cheverny and because you are in the heart of great cycling country with lots of routes going directly from the entrance. The magnificent weeping willow overhanging the fishing lake is the site's trademark. There is a warm friendly atmosphere created by the enthusiastic family who run it. All the services are located in a converted 17th century farm house. The site has a lovely verdant feel further enhanced by a wealth of flowers and trees. There are 15 châteaux within easy reach. *Clef Verte*

Just after Cour-Cheverny, pass in front of the entrance to the château and turn on to D102 in the direction of Contres. The site is about 2km along this road off to the right, easy to find because of the weeping willows (saules) at the entrance to the site.
