Selected as this Castels site has a prime location just outside Sarlat and has been created around an old Perigordian watermill. The services are housed in converted stone faced farm buildings and a pretty stream runs through the site. It is a terraced site laid out in woodland with the best pitches nearer the bottom of the site. The Dutreux family offer a warm welcoming atmosphere which attracts a good mixture of nationalities. The site is an ideal base for visiting all the main attractions of the Dordogne area, the castles, caves and gastronomic restaurants. In July/August an evening trip to Sarlat with its street entertainment is highly recommended.

72 mobile homes and bungalow chalets. 8 different models with 2 or 3 bedrooms, several on terraces at top of site. Premium model with air conditioning, diswasher, satellite tv and two bathrooms. One model specially adapted for the disabled.
Laid out on terraces rising up from pool/bar area. They are flat, grassy and divided by low hedges. Most enjoy a fair amount of shade. The more open pitches overlook the pool, but can be more noisy. There are 96 standard pitches, 33 comfort pitches with 10 amp electricity, water and waste water drainage point. 7 Premium pitches 140m² with barbecue, garden furniture, parasol, 2 sun loungers, fridge and free internet access.

The site can book canoe trips on the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, or on a traditional 'Gabare' boat which used to carry merchandise along the Dordogne and organises a guided walk once a week.

Attractive pool area 320m² in total which includes paddling pool with mini waterslide, good sized almost rectangular-shaped basin for swimming, and generous sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols.
Three well-maintained, toilet blocks, which do not let in much light so they are a bit dark. The toilet block near reception has been recently renovated, and is heated in low season. Push button temperature control showers with hooks and shelf. Separate wash basins with hot and cold water. Toilets with seats and toilet paper. Good washing up facilities. Disabled facilities. Baby room. Laundry. Chemical waste point.
