Selected because of its direct access to a superb stretch of sandy beach, the luxury quality of its main toilet block and its good little aqua park. There are two entrances to the beach one by the road as you come into the site and one in the corner of the pitches. It is a great beach for windsurfing and kite-surfing and a great spot for an evening stroll to enjoy the wonderful sunsets. The site also has a long season from April to early November.

The majority of pitches are at the entrance to the site near the beach. They are sandy and laid out under pines so are quite well shaded. They are divided by the trees and low shrubs but are not that well defined. A few right at the back of the site are more spacious and grassy with less shade but nearby toilet block here has not been refurbished.

Open April to 15th October. The indoor 200m2 aquaparc is covered and opens in April depending on night time temperature. Jaccuzzi for 6 or 7 persons. Massage chairs. Water fountain and waterfall for the children. The outdoor part is open from May to September. There are two waterslides and a waterfall descending into a separate basin, a leisure pool, and a lazy river. Sun terrace and sun loungers. None of the pools are suitable for a good swim.
Two toilet blocks. The one near the entrance has been refurbished to a very high standard. It is very spacious, built round a courtyard, attractively tiled in grey granite. Sensor lights and sensor taps. Automatic flushing toilets with paper, and hand washing and hand dryer by toilet area. Family rooms with temperature controlled showers and washbasins. Baby rooms and excellent disabled facilities. Separate laundry. Chemical disposal point. The second toilet block towards the back of the site is more basic, but quite acceptable.
From N165 take the D139 towards Camoël (midway between Muzillac and La Roche Bernard). Continue to Camoël turning right onto the D34. After 500m turn left onto the D83 towards Assérac. After 4km turn right towards Pont Mahé. Turn right at the T junction and continue to Port Mahé. As you enter the village turn left towards the beach and the site entrance is on your left.
