Selected because this typically Breton site enjoys a magnificent view over the Bay of Douarnanez, renowned for its superb stretches of sandy beach ideal for surfing, and for its rocky creeks suitable for fishing. There is a verdant spacious feel to the site enhanced by pretty flowers and shrubs. The eco-friendly site owner, M Garrec, takes pride in the unique position of his site, enjoys welcoming the customers and maintains it to a high standard. It is the first site in Brittany to install a special eco waste treatment centre in the corner of the site which is completely odour free. There is a quiet French atmosphere and easy access to the beach is a great asset. The GR34 walking path is just 100m from the site.

One large unisex toilet block with attractive paintings on the walls that give it a bright sunny feel. A bit dated but very clean and acceptable. From N165 take exit at Châteaulin and follow D887 towards Crozon. After 10km turn left on D47A towards Plomodiern. Follow signs to Pors Ar Vag beach and exit from Plomodiern onto Rue de la Plage. Continue for 3.5km to Pors Ar Vag and the site entrance is on your left as you approach the beach.
