The site is well maintained and enhanced by an abundance of flowers by the reception. It is situated in a region rich in green valleys, lakes and medieval villages. There is plenty to keep you occupied and on arrival the site give you a welcome pack full of information on all the activities and attractions in the Western Alps.

Flat, grassy, divided by hedges and shrubs and generous in size up to 120m². There is some shade on most pitches. Pitches at the back of site have the best views but are further from the sanitary block.

During July and August, a dancing evening with barbecue is organized each Wednesday until midnight - highly recommended as the site owenrs serve copious quantities of delicious food and wine. Walking routes with maps ranging from 3.5km to 20km are available in reception.

Three toilet blocks, an excellent one in middle of site and a two older ones towards back of site, which are still in good condition. Push button temperature control showers with hooks, shelf and rail. Toilets with toilet paper outside. Disabled facilities. Baby room. Separate laundry. Chemical waste point.
From Lyon. Take the A43 in the direction of Chambéry. Exit at Chimilin and follow the D592 to Les Abrets. In the village turn left at the roundabout in the direction of Chambéry Pont de Beauvoisin onto the D1006. Turn left again after 1km, before you cross the railway line. The campsite is well-signposted from here.
