Alps
Selected because this site is situated 935m high amidst stunning mountain scenery and only 200m from the pretty Alpine town of Le Grand Bornand with its lively bars, restaurants and shops. The site is run by the charming Baur family who create a warm welcoming atmosphere. The pretty wooden-beamed bar/restaurant is located in a 200-year old building or 'alpage', decorated in traditional style and offering excellent Alpine dishes. It is a great area for ski-ing in the winter and para-gliding in summer.
