It occupies a unique spot at the foot of the famous Grand Colombier, the highest point in the Bugey mountain range. From here you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the Rhone Valley, the lakes of Bourget, Annecy and Geneva and the Alps. It is a quiet site and perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activites such as mountain biking, canyoning, canoeing, fishing, donkey treking, hiking and via ferrata which are all available nearby. On the 17 July 2016 the 15th stage of the Tour de France passes nearby.

Small rectangular pool 11m x 5m heated by solar panels with small sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols. Open 1st June - 30th Sep.
Two well maintained toilet blocks heated in the winter. One is new and water is heated by solar panels. Separate ladies and gent. Temperature control showers with shelves and rail and plenty of hooks. Wash basins, one in individual cubicle with warm water only. Chemical disposal point. Washing machine, tumble dryer.
From the A42 exit at junction 8, Anbérieu-en-Bugey. Follow signs to Aix-les-Bains and take the D1504 for 36 kms and turn left onto the D904 to Virieu le Grand and Culoz. After 9km you arrive at Artemare turn left into th evillage and then left again to cross the river - this is a sharp turn so take care. The campsite is well-signposted.
