The site’s fabulous location on a bend of the Dordogne river combined with top quality services makes it a very popular holiday destination.
The beautiful rocky backdrop makes it a truly delightful spot for swimming, paddling and launching canoes. The site is divided into two separate areas, with the best pitches near the river, but a short walk from all the services and activities. There is a fairly lively atmosphere in high season and a good mixture of nationalities. An attractive redesigned entrance with spacious parking means that the reception, bar/restaurant area is now a traffic free zone.
From Sarlat. Take the D46 south towards Vitrac and La Roque Gageac. In Vitrac-Port turn left onto the D703 towards Montfort. (NB the D55 has a ban on all caravans). The campsite is signposted to the right just after the golf course. Continue along this road and the site entrance is to your left after the canoe hire centre.
From Souillac. Take the D804 west from the town which becomes the D703 after 3km, signposted to Bergerac and following the river. When you reach Monfort the campsite is signed to your left.
