Selected as this is a small site in the heart of Provence, not far from the famous Mont Ventoux, ideal for an overnight or short stay particularly for wine aficianados. It is a 5-minute walk into the centre of Villes-sur-Auzon and has easy access from the main road so it is a good choice for motorhomes. There is a pretty entrance with the reception and bar in a typical Provencal building, and the abundance of lovely trees offers welcome shade. Not recommended for young families as very little offered to keep little ones amused. There are lovely views over the vineyard from the back of the site.

Nothing on site except for small bar serving drinks and ice-creams. overlooking the swimming pool as everything you need is just a short walk away in the town including a bakers, a small Vival shop, a green-grocers, a restaurant, a pizzeria and several interesting little craft shops.
Excellent sized rectangular pool for size of site 14m x 7m, with pebbly sun terrace and sunloungers. Small paddling pool.
Two toilet blocks. One is being renovated. The other has been partially modernised with new swing doors but old plumbing. It is quite respectable and spacious inside except for showers which are quite narrow. Hot and cold taps in showers and wash basins, but shower heads are not well fixed. Hook and shelf in shower room. Baby changing area is not in own cubicle. Toilets have toilet paper. Chemical disposal point. Washing machine.
The campsite is situated on the western edge of the town. From Carpentras take the D942 towards Mazan. Continue on the D942 to Villes sur Auzon and the entrance to the campsite is on your right just after entering the town. It is set back from the main road so is not immediately visible.
