Selected because this delightful little site is renowned for its quiet peaceful atmosphere and is only 800m from the lake. Situated on the western side of Lake Annecy near Doussard, it enjoys stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
The profusion of flowers and well trimmed hedges create a good first impression and it attracts a good cross-section of nationalities. A cycle track next to the site will take you to the town of Annecy which is a bonus as the roads are very busy in high season. There are good beaches along the lakeside and plenty of places to visit in the area by bike, on foot in the mountains, or for day trips by car. The site has recently been sold and has a dynamic new owner, so some changes can be expected.

The site was well run with a small but adequate shop and takeaway which was reasonably priced. The pool was good and never too busy. It was one of our best camping holidays probably because the site is in a beautiful location and there was a fantastic cycle path which runs along one side of the lake. The path was located just outside the campsite and was very easy for our youngest child to cycle on. You can cycle to Annecy or catch the ferry, swim in the lake, hire pedalos. Fantastic!
